Oddly enough, I really want a pair of those too.
Okay. But what if I'm fine with looking odd when I run, just not fine with getting vertical and running.
Do you have shoes for that?

I don't know exactly what those are, but they are certainly cheerful and spring-y.
The Boy has had a pair of those for a long time. he loved them in AZ but hates them in Houston. The roads are too rough here it seems. Have fun with them.
I have a pair. Not that style, but they are all pretty much equal degrees of ugly. I wear them to Zumba and I LOVE them.
I'm on my second pair of Vibrams, and I love them!
Before trying 'minimalist footwear' I couldn't run more than a mile without my knees starting to hurt. Switching from regular running shoes to Vibrams made me change my running style - now I'm hitting the pavement first with the balls of my feet instead of my heel - and no more pain! They're fantastic.
I want them!

I'm giggling! Before I even clicked on the link I knew it would be these shoes. They both repulse and fascinate me. I expect a report on their performance. And you can expect me to snigger and have shoe envy at the same time. I'm a paradox, alright.
