I have an overwhelming urge to dye my hair blue: Random Tuesday Thoughts

    randomtuesday

Yes, it's Tuesday.  No, I haven't re-designed the button yet.  Get off my case, geez.

    *long-suffering sigh*

Anyway!  It's Tuesday.  Which, if you're new here, means it's time for Random Tuesday Thoughts.  They're thoughts that are random.  On a Tuesday.  Seems pretty straightforward to me.  Shall we begin?

This week's date night movie was Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.  I thought it was great.  But it was probably exclusively geared towards me and the other eight people who enjoy manga, music that sounds "early 90s alternative", and who played a lot of Street Fighter in their youth.

The bio-identical hormone cream that I'm taking (absorbing?) is definitely helping with the Crazy.  For instance, today I drove past the main city cemetary with no problem whatsoever.  The last time I did, I burst into tears thinking about my grandpa.

Which, y'know, would be normal, except that I hardly knew him - he died when I was two years old.  Also, I'm not entirely sure that he's even IN that graveyard.

    So, yeah.  Definitely helping.

Also helping with the Lazy.  I'm definitely starting to think about getting back on a regular exercise schedule.

I'm not actually getting back on a schedule.  But thinking about it.  I may have even mentioned it aloud.

The charity kids album, Do Fun Stuff, that I posted about yesterday is the #1 selling kids album on iTunes.  Cool.

    The most unfortunate logo ever.

Ever since I moved the blog I feel a little odd about it.  Like it's not quite "home".  I know, it's just fucking pixels, I'm a headcase.

Maybe it's all those emails I'm getting with the subject line: geeeetttt ooouuuuttttt.

Eyelashes for your car.  Patent pending, you guys!

There is no auto-save on this blog interface.  Who wants to take bets on how long it takes me to lose an entire post?

    GRraaaarrrggggghhhhhyaaaaaaaaaarrrrgggg.

    ...you heard me.

I think tomorrow I'm going to do us all a favor and just post something wordless.

    Random up, you guys!

I like the new site but I feel you on the pixel thing. I still hate my blog and don't feel like it's quite right after switching from blogger to wordpress. I guess it takes time or we just suck it up and live with it (haha not).

They have cream for crazy? Where can I get some, I really need it.

I started walking in February of this year. Half a mile a day. Now I do about 4.5 miles a day!! I know...shoot me! But I am enjoying it and I go early enough that I see the sunrise every morning! Have I made you ill yet? Go ahead, throw up...I will wait!.................
I am glad to hear that the cream is helping you out. Not having the "crazy" all the time has to be a big relief. I used the same kind of cream about 12 years ago. The pharmacists made it up for me. I don't know what all was in it...but it worked!!! Don't need it now. Now I do drugs! Ha!

    If you do, post pics!

Dude, don't know why it says ThredUP after my name...sorry.

And because I have little people bugging the crap out of me...I misread the hormone cream as ice cream. And instantly I was EWWW! Glad to know you're not actually eating it....then you would really be crazy. Happy R T T!

Glad the cream is helping with the Crazy - I'm with JP, where can I get some? ;)

I hear ya on the 'not feeling like home' mode...I switched over from Blogger in January, and only recently has it started to feel like 'home' again. Or maybe it's because I finally got used to it. I think you can set up autosave...mine does, but I'll have to figure out how I did it. :)

Isn't it the thought that counts? No? Darn! Guess I better stop just thinking...

It's better to think about exercise than to actually do any.

That logo....wow. And then someone else posted yet another unfortunate logo further down the page. isn't there some sort of comitte to review these things? haha

scott pilgram versus the world comes out over here tomorrow. Jury is still out on whether or not to see it- I keep getting mixed reviews hurrmmm

    There's a "crazy" cream? I mean, an "anti-crazy" cream.
I know a lot of people I would like to buy it for! ;)
That logo is the WORST logo ever!
I think you should really spend some time thinking about exercise.
You might be jumping into exercising a little bit too quickly - think about it some more........with a cupcake.
    Have a great Tuesday!

Eyelashes for the car. That is really insane. They do look cute on the round headlights of the Bug but the rest are just ridiculous. We own a car wash, so I can imagine how many we'll be finding soon!

After a week away, I'm back. Weee.

I'm really thinking about how much I want some car lashes. even though I'm not 16

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterbrandy

    Love the new look!

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterkimert

I think the car lashes are kind a cute. They make the cars look like they are smiling.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJennifer

The car eye lashed reminded me of the keys people use to have for the back of their VW Beetles back in the 70's. And if you have that kind of money, you should consider donating it to charity, freaking dimwits.

Glad the anti-crazy cream is working. I cried over everything shortly after I had little o. And that just sucks.

Curious about the cream...a progesterone cream? I've been told something like that might help with my migraines.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterPseudo

Balancing my lack of uterus hormone w my bipolar crazy helped me work out more. I feel less like ignoring everything so I work out more, look so hot I'd do me and that motivates me to keep working out. Having a CrackBerry helps. I blog poolside ;)

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterjulie - momspectivr

Definitely helping. Now, if you are not crying at coke commercials I'd call it a winner.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMichele

i like blue hair, just a streak is pretty.
really unfortunate logo i must agree.
but not as asinine as the car-lashes.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterelise

I think anti-crazy cream should be given out like candy like on Halloween. The world would be a better place. Glad it's working for you.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered Commentercbs111

Can that cream be sent over the border? To Florida? Like now? Or else I have no hope for Tuesday.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSprite's Keeper

It feels very homey here to me. Maybe you just need to get some new throw pillows or hang a favorite poster. Or have a block party to get to know the neighbors. I'd come.

Glad to hear the cream is helping. I think I want me some. I can't decide if if my constant anxiety about money is because I'm hormonal or because we don't have any damned money. Must make money.

That really is the most unfortunate log. Oh my. I'm assuming someone got fired over that.

And don't worry about the button. I kind of like it. I know, I know.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterGretchen

Well they used to have bras for cars, eyelashes aren't that bad, or maybe they are. I wouldn't do it. But then I'm old and boring. Happy Tuesday!

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterVandyJ

I could see my car in eyelashes...if it was plastic and I was three.

    August 31, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterStephanie

Hey, I think we could all use stock in the cream for the crazy. Now if someone invents something for the funky hairs I keep finding on my chin, I'm there.
