If he's going to get kicked out, it should be for something classic, like pranking the Dean
Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 5:52AM I love higher learning. I love the vibe of universities and colleges, the creative energy. They're a hotbed of information and social activity. I love to learn.
Sadly for me, we've determined that this time, it's hubby's turn to go get edumacated. It's for the greater good - getting him the hell out of the restaurant industry. (Can you imagine? Working jobs on the same schedule? Having *gasp* more than 30 minutes in a day to converse? The wonder of it all.)
So today he was there talking to the registrar about his options, and he sent me this photo from the bathroom. Clearly, the vibe at university has changed.

Let's hope he can follow the rules, shall we?

Come on now. That's just being unreasonable. Where the hell else are you supposed to clean them?
Sheesh.
;)
Too funny! I'm sure it will be a hard rule to follow though....
I am sure he will restrain himself in the name of higher education.
Looks like they are aiming low.
You know, that sign would scare me if I didn't have an 18 year old son. But because I do, it makes perfect sense.
I realize that I'm much older than most of your audience, but our college bathrooms advised against contracting gonorrhea or syphilis.
AIDS hadn't been invented yet.
My college Bathroom warned of abusive relation ships and that the prayer room was upstairs... I guess some students were locking the bathrooms and holding "daily prayers" in there. (hmmmm wonder what kind of prayers those were?)
I work in higher ed. I've seen and talk to the students (talk may be to strong a word) That sign makes perfect sense to me.
Well, crap. Guess he'll have to clean them in the toilet now...
I would never be able to stick to that rule. Thats just soooo unreasonable!!!
Well, at least it gives you something to think about while your sitting down doing your business. Because it's rude to bring the paper into a public bathroom, right?
Hmmm! Interesting rules! Yes, I too hope he can follow them. Ha!

That's just too much to ask!
I started my college career at University of Montana, and there were signs in the bathroom asking us nicely not to clean fish in the sinks. Also, our RA had a little talk with us about not keeping loaded firearms or gutting deer in our rooms.
But if you take your shoes off, then your feet are okay, right?
I wonder if it's alright to clean boots in the sinks?
Maybe it's a right of passage… hey, did you clean your shoes in the sink yet?
It's almost like telling someone NOT to do something and wondering why they still do it.
Then I have to ask: "where does one clean there shoes anyway…"
The bigger question: What on campus is making people's shoes so dirty??
Why is that such a problem there? Is this the right school for him?
That sign is perfect for this website:

(@rachel m - i'm a rachel m too- and love that website)
@keeley- what the hell do they have on their floors?
Could've been worse. NO cleaning of the dick, you know??
Since when do college students clean?
It makes you wonder what happened the night BEFORE that sign was created...
Um ok. That's weird.
Both my daughter and her bf work in the restaurant industry and the hours just suck. Best of luck to him getting his edumacation. And remind him to keep his shoes out of the sink.
