« I'll have a dreamscape full of zombified blue cat people: Random Tuesday Thoughts | Main | I'm talking about ACTUAL wrestling, people, it's not a euphemism. Well, it's still fake, but, y'know. (Random Tuesday Thoughts) »

The family that buys nerdy presents together...

(I bought Xander's from primobambino on etsy, and hubby bought the one I'm wearing a while ago thinking it was actually a blanket. Imagine our delight when we discovered it was actually a cape. OMG! WHAT FUN!)

(Hubby would like to point out that Xander's cape sports the movie logo, while mine has the original comic book and TV series logo.)

(We are beyond geeky at this point. It's okay to point and laugh.)

    *pointing and laughing*

My hubs would notice the difference in the logos too.

OMG! You have a Bat Man cape! I'm so envious it hurts.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL....wow don't you love when that happens? You go to buy a blanket and suddenly you turn into some superhero ;-) lollll

I cannot even BELIEVE you have a batman cape. This is why you are awesome.

Quick story, my friend Chaz has a 4 y.o. son, and for Halloween, they went as old-school TV Batman and Robin. The little was Batman and Daddy was Robin. It was brilliant.

Funny- my husband has almost completely transformed me to total geekiness. The last straw will be READING comics. I watch the movies, have gotten excited about Sci Fi movies and TV, and even solved a gamers' puzzle that he was totally stumped on. Ha! If I come home with a Batman cape... he might just marry me all over again!

lol. i love it. at least xander wasn't the one that noticed the difference in the logos. i think that would be a bit much

Awesome capes. Spiderman lives at our house--evidently he is my other son and he only comes out occasionally. The rest of the time he lives quietly in the attic.

Sooooooooo...I guess there is no Batman & Robin at your casa, huh?? Only Batman & Batman!!!

Honestly I didn't even realize they had two different logos until you pointed it out. But it is really, really cute that you both like your batman capes.

It reminds me of the time I made Thor a cape from a receiving blanket. He was Wonder Boy (a totally made up by him person, but cute nonetheless).

    I see a Cape-r in your future.

    (Yep I totally went there.)

Are you sure it's okay to point and laugh? :-)

    But...do you sleep in them?

    January 6, 2010 | Unregistered Commentergretchen

Ok good, cause I am totally pointing and laughing.

Only true geeks would know the difference. I'm feeling a little bad that I wouldn't have caught it. Catwoman on the other hand I would have spotted.

oh, I won't point nor laugh. if I wasn't such a fat ass I would totally dress up as Wonder Woman. Hmmm. did I just say that?

I LOVE it. Seriously. Elliot wore her Batman (movie logo) shirt and cape all afternoon yesterday and Graham was hoppityballboy, bouncing up and down the hallway for an hour fighting crime.

    You guys are too cute.

Excellent! So does Dad have to play the bad guy

I would only point and laugh if your Bat Suit had nipples on it. The cape is divine.
