Whimsical design has no place in parenting, thankyouverymuch

This is my 2-year-old's winter jacket.

    I know, right?

There's no WAY the cell phone we got him is going to fit in there.

Yeah, those Elmo phones are huge. Atleast they could get their cross-marketing correct.

    Bravo!

I'm appalled! Why do the kids get the coolest phones.

Wait, I think Will Farrell had one of those tiny phones in Zoolander.

What? He didn't get a parental tracking device at birth?

    January 22, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDenise

Getting a new jacket is cheaper than getting a new phone...that is what I would suggest :)

My first and third-graders would be sooooo mad if they saw this! They keep telling me they need cell phones. Our rule is no cell phones until sixth grade. But they still tell me their friends have them.

My 5 year old was telling me yesterday why he couldn't have Facebook. I didn't even realize he knew what Facebook was.

My son would LOVE to have a cell phone!

    January 22, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAmyLK

If you loved him, you would make it fit. Also...what's his calling plan like?

Disney sells these little phones that have four buttons that a parent can program numbers into. I thought they were really useful until I realized that I SURVIVED CHILDHOOD without a cell phone.

    Hello everyone!
I would like to burn a theme at this forum. There is such a nicey, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of ponzy-like structure, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I earn money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I get now up to 2G a day , and I started with funny 500 bucks.
Right now, I managed to catch a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Turn to my blog to get additional info.

Kids are getting phones younger and younger these days arent they!

I teach pre-k. One of the little girls said this exact quote.

"Uhhh.. I Know! My mom is making me wait until kindergarten to get my first cell phone!"

WHAT?! who are you talking toa t 5? She said it in a tone that implied distress, as if at 4 she is totally put out without a phone! lol :)
